August Bible Study Theme - The Secret Life of the Christian Teenager

Make plans to join us for another pop culture themed T.O.R.C.H. Bible study series in August. Is Secret Life must-see TV for you? Have you even heard of this show? Of course you have! We'll take a look at how to apply Biblical life lessons from the fictional life of Amy Juergens and her friends and family. Invite your friends! There is no need to be a fan of Secret Life or to even be familiar with it to learn from and enjoy this series. But, if you are, that's what they call "the icing on the cake".

T.O.R.C.H. Meetings - Summer 2009 Announcement!

Our Wednesday Bible Studies have a new home for the summer. As a matter of fact, they will have several new homes. Instead of meeting at the church building, we will gather in the homes of Candlewyck member families. So far for June there are some really exciting events and locales planned. We will meet in the home of Missy Craig on June 3 and will be treated to a hot dog dinner! Later in the month, the Dudley's will host us. Bring your swimsuit for a pool party that night! You will also have a chance to study and worship in the Chapel. That being the metropolis of Wesley Chapel, as you visit Mandy and I at our house. Please email, text, call or holler at me for directions.

List of Dates/Locations:
June 3 / Missy's
June 10 / Drew's
June 17 / Chris and Victoria's *Pool Party

Blowing Cover - Families on Mission

Start your planning now for "Blowing Cover - Families on Mission". This will be an awesome time to serve our neighborhoods in Charlotte. Make sure to take lots of pictures. We will join together at the church for a hot dog dinner and a time of sharing at 6pm. Please see Drew if you would like some ministry project ideas. I can't wait for our families to blow their cover and show themselves as loving, caring people!
