TNL - Turn a New Leaf in 2009

For the month of January, we will be visiting the principle of "turning a new leaf", spiritually speaking. The phrase, as we learned on the 7th, is derived from the idea of turning over a new leaf of paper in a diary or journal. In other words, working from a clean slate. A guideline was laid out for doing just this as a three-part process that can be maintained with the "TNL Tracker":

Even if you're unable to attend the Wednesday night meetings in January, I invite you to use the "TNL Tracker" to develop a set regular time and place to pray, read the Bible and work with an accountability partner.

"Twilight" True Love Waits

As we transition into February, we will re-visit our annual purity series, True Love Waits. In 2009, we will use the backdrop of the smash-hit Twilight books and movie, to learn about committing to a life of purity. This is a great opportunity to invite friends to our Wednesday T.O.R.C.H. meetings, especially if they are fans of Edward and Bella!
